Abstract

In this study, we tried to analyze the influence of the density or number of nodes of a mesh in a finite element test (FEA), in order to verify the variation of the precision of the results and the total time of simulation. A bushing of an equipment was used and subjected to a compression test, which was compared with the calculation of normal stress (σ).
