Abstract

Aerodynamic balances are used to determine the aerodynamic loads acting on the models tested in the wind tunnels. It is seen as one of the main instruments for obtaining drag and lift forces in experiments carried out in wind tunnels. The purpose of this work is to carry out static tests on the scale, with several random temporal weighings and with loading and unloading to verify its functionality, and through the results obtained, analyze and validate the functioning of the measurement of the lifting force made by the scale, already aiming future tests in the wind tunnel with the complete use of the equipment. The results obtained in the tests were satisfactory, deferring the use of the scale to determine the lift force.
