Abstract
The Hindmarsh-Rose mathematical model of the neuronal system is a dynamic system with three differential equations whose behaviors are also observed in biological neurons. In addition, it is the fact that the model also reproduces chaotic behavior, even hyper chaotic, in which this behavior reproduces the manifestation of an epileptic seizure in the human individual and/or convulsive. Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disease that can be treated and prevented and when it is not adequately treated, people with epilepsy are at greater risk of sudden death and physical, psychological and social comorbidities. In this sense, the application of a mathematical control method that stabilizes such behavior in the vicinity of desired regions is necessary and this work proposes to develop a control method based on the State Dependent Riccati Equation (SDRE) to reduce the chaotic oscillation of the system to A periodic orbit thus ensured a stable pattern and prevented epileptic seizures.
