Esse
trabalho, procurou verificar, justamente, a região compreendida entre os
processos de fresamento que utilizam velocidades de corte consideradas
convencionais e as altas velocidades de corte. Para tanto, foi proposto um
estudo do comportamento das classes de metal duro e cermet em um material de
grande aplicação na indústria de ferramentaria e matrizaria, utilizando
um equipamento de alta velocidade (HVM - High Velocity Machine). Os
resultados obtidos, foram plotados e analisados, indicando uma tendência
diferente dos resultados obtidos na região considerada de altíssima
velocidade de corte.

BETWEEN CONVENTIONAL SPEED AND HIGH SPEED CUTTING |

This
work found to verify the region between the milling processes that uses
conventional cutting speeds an HSC. Therefore, it was proposed a hardmetal
and cermet grade behavior survey in a wide application material for mould
and die suppliers and it was used a HVM (high velocity machine) equipament.
The achieved results, were ploted and analysed, showing a different tendency
from the results achieved in the HSC considered region. The results of this
work showed that the intermediate region between the high speed cutting and
the conventional speed cutting must be better studied, mainly because
actually is the more important region for the metal mechanics industry.
