THE PERSONAL EVALUATION IN THE TEACHING OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING IN THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF SANTA MARIA
 
Summary :
ABSTRACT: THIS WORK DESCRIBES AN EXPERIENCE OF CLASSROOM, MADE WITH ACADEMICS OF THE 5TH AND 8TH SEMESTERS OF THE COURSE OF GRADUATION IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING OF UFSM. THE EXPERIENCE CONSISTS IN THE APPLICATION OF A PERSONAL EVALUATION (PE) IN THE FIRST CLASS OF EACH SEMESTER. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO MAKE A REFLECTION AMONG EVERYBODY BECAUSE THEY ARE IN TWO IMPORTANT PHASES OF THE COURSE: BEGINNING THE VOCATIONAL DISCIPLINES (5TH SEMESTER) AND, CONCLUSION THE OBLIGATORY DISCIPLINES (8TH SEMESTER). IN THESE SEMESTERS A CERTAIN DEPRESSION IS VERIFIED, IN THOSE THAT ARE FINISHING THE BASIC FORMATION AND, INSECURITY IN THOSE THAT ARE BEGINNING THE SUPERVISED STAGE. THE APPLICATION OF PE FOLLOWS A METHODOLOGY THAT STIMULATES THE ACT OF THINKING. WE BELIEVED WITH IT, THE ACADEMICS PRACTICE THE USE OF THE REASONING, BECAUSE THEY THINK. AS IT IS KNOWN, WHO READS, THINKS; WHO THINKS, WRITES; WHO WRITES, SPEAKS AND, WHO SPEAKS, HEARS. WITH THAT, IT IS VERIFIED THAT THE ACADEMICS PASS TO READ, TO THINK, TO WRITE, TO SPEAK AND TO HEAR BETTER. THAT IS THE MINIMUM THAT WE CAN WAIT, BUT MOST HAVE COMMUNICATION AND EXPRESSION LIMITATIONS. THEREFORE, WITH THE PE WE TRY TO CONTRIBUTE WITH THEM, TURNING MORE PARTICIPANTS AND SAFE IN THIS COMPETITIVE CONTEXT THAT WE LIVED. KEYWORDS: TEACHING, PERSONAL EVALUATION, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
