ABSTRACT:
A SOLUTION FOR THE SPILLOVER APPEARING IN THE ACTIVE CONTROL OF FLEXIBLE STRUCTURES LIGHTLY DAMPED USING THE NEW TECHNIQUES OF ROBUST CONTROL H-INFINITY WITH FEEDBACK IS PRESENTED. THIS TECHNIQUE ASSURES THE STABILITY OF THE CONTROL SYSTEM EVEN IN THE PRESENCE OF THE RESIDUAL DYNAMICS AND GIVES A ROBUST CONTROLLER THAT IN ADDITION HAS A GOOD PERFORMANCE. AS AN EXAMPLE, A CONTROL SYSTEM IS SYNTHETIZED FOR A FLEXIBLE STRUCTURE FORMED BY BAR ELEMENTS AND MODELED THROUGH THE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD. THE PROJECT WAS DONE BY USING THE MATLAB?AND SIMULINK? AND THE RESULTS SHOW THE EFFICACY OF THE SOLUTION PROPOSED.
