ABSTRACT. THIS PAPER DISCUSSES BOTH DIDACTIC PROCEDURES AND THE GUIDANCE/INTERVENENCE ACTIONS TAKEN BY TEACHERS TO HELP STUDENTS TO GET HOLD OF THE NECESSARY INFORMATION TO THEIR FUTURE PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE, AS WELL AS TEACHING STRATEGIES THAT ARE MORE SIGNIFICANT TO AID STUDENTS IN FACING SOCIETY CHALLANGES TODAY. IT ALSO DISCUSSES THE TEACHER ROLE CONCERNING THE INFORMATION ADMINISTRATION AND ITS RELATION TO NEW TECNOLOGICAL INSTRUMENTS IN SCHOOL. IN ADDITION, IT PRESENTS THE CENARIO OF THE EFFECTS OF THE TECNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS IN WORKING RELATIONS AND DISCUSSES HOW SCHOOL SHOULD ADAPT ITSELF TO THIS NEWCOMING REALITY. THE TEACHING PROCEDURES ARE GROUPED AS ONE COMPONENT SO THAT IT CONTRIBUTES TO THE POWERFUL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WHERE PREDISPOSITION, AUTONOMOUS THOUGHT, CRIATIVITY, CRITICITY, RESPONSABILITY HELP BUILD KNOWLEDGE CHAINS. THIS WAY, STUDENTS ARE TAKEN AS MORE ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS. THIS LEADS TO THE NEED OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING COURSE TEACHERS CHANGE IN ROLE IN ORDER TO HELP GRADUATE ENGINEERS WHO BESIDES THE GENERAL VIEW POWER, ARE SPECIALISTS PREPARED TO FACE THE WORLD.
