The main objective
of this symposium is to gather researchers devoted to the theoretical,
applied, computational, and experimental investigation in Solid Mechanics.
This is a first effort to organize the Brazilian community working in this
field, and aims at promoting scientific meetings in a format similar to
ENCIT or DINAME in a near future.
