The purpose of the Design, Production and Management Symposium is to bring together all those interested in the many subjects which have as a common target the product, involving different stages or tools of the development process. The following topics are contemplated: Product Development; Industrial Design; Industrial Quality Management and Control; Flexible Manufacturing Systems; Integrated Systems CAD, CAM, CAPP and CIM; Recycling and Environmental Impact; Logistics; Packing Devices; Production Management Systems (MRP, ERP). The papers focus on fundamental and state-of-the-art issues including computational, theoretical, experimental and applied contributions.
