The Fundamental and Mechanical Science Symposium covers basic investigation and key aspects of mechanical sciences with a strong focus (but not limited to) on solid mechanics, structures, materials, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. The Symposium program addresses a broad set of research problems in these scientific areas to support the sustainment and advances of engineering and mechanical sciences. Papers presented at the Symposium focus on fundamental issues including computational, theoretical, experimental and applied contributions.
