Abstract
The brake system is a dynamic set for the safety of the BAJA SAE project. The understanding of temperature behavior is important for the study and sizing of the same, so that there will not be failure in the brake system, caused by evaporation of brake fluid, vitrification, "fading" or thermal fatigue. The objective of this work was the experimental analysis of the brake disc on the bench, by means of an infrared camera, thus being able to analyze the behavior of the heating and cooling curve in the system on the entire surface of the disc.
