Abstract
The need to expand the renewable energy matrix, lack of space and increasing population growth have become the main reasons for the installation of offshore wind farms (installation of wind turbines at sea). The objective of the study was to analyze the maximum stresses, using the von Mises criterion, utilizing the Salome-Meca simulation software in a finite element analysis of an offshore wind turbine tower, subject to static loadings of aerodynamic loads and hydrodynamics. As a result, the maximum stress and displacement of 105.4 MPa and 0.38 m were obtained, respectively. And for minimum loading the maximum tension and displacement were 35.23 MPa and 0.013 m.
