Abstract

The project aims to discover the feasibility of the use of solar cooker for poor communities in the state of Sergipe, so it is possible to verify the application to regions with the same climatic and economic patterns. For this, it was necessary to do a survey with the residents of the Mem de Sá Island community to understand if the work was compatible with their need. From this, a solar cooker project was developed for the residents, in which the prototype was manufactured and tested, and presented to the community that approved the initiative and showed an interest in using the prototype.
