Abstract

This paper aims to present the steps for the realization of the technical visit of a high school class and its influence on the mentality of these students. To this end, the visit was conducted in the main areas of the Mechanical Engineering School, together with a lecture for students about the engineering profession and, after that, a form was passed to them, which aimed to understand the perspectives of students before and after the visit. With this, it was evident that there was a significant increase in the curiosity of visitors for academic life, where many showed interest in other areas besides engineering itself.
