Abstract
It is extremely important to obtain accurate and precise air propulsion for mobile robots that use this configuration to move around. Such a scenario is found in the Intelligent Robotics Group of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), where projects with drones and autonomous vessels are developed. Since some designs have counter-rotating propulsion, knowing the loss of propulsive value of the engines located in the wake of adjacent engines becomes very important in determining the performance of these vehicles. This work presents the development of a test bench capable of holding two powertrain groups and instrumenting the parameters of thrust, rotation, current, voltage and torque, in addition to performing the remote activation of the motors and automated recording of the data. Where the results showed a high correlation in validation and allowed for understanding the loss of thrust from the motor receiving the air stream.
